This last weekend I presented at a conference in my old kollege town focusing on media and the environment. And despite my pronoucned cynicism, especially towards saccharine environmental issues, I was truly moved. I've been feeling floatey the last few days, unable to get too hung up on the leaking shower or work, as I feel like I am only on this planet a short time and I want to make it count. How about that.
When I was down in SB, I also saw my old homeless buddy, who per our routine, called me beautiful. I swear that's the only place where you actually look forward to seeing the homeless.
